Université Paris-Saclay wants to make it easier for international students to access its Master’s programs and research up to the doctoral level.

Scholarships for the 2023–2024 academic year will be awarded to eligible students admitted to a Master’s program delivered by specific institutions.

The scholarships are awarded for 1 or 2 years, depending on the admission level and completion of required credits.

Scholarships are given to students in a Master’s program at Université Paris-Saclay for 1 or 2 years, depending on their admission level (M1 or M2). Students must complete the required credits to continue to the next year of study.

  • The amount of the Université Paris-Saclay scholarship is 10,000€ per year. Université Paris-Saclay pays it for the academic year and 10 consecutive months (September to June).

  • A maximum of 1,000€ for travel and visa expenses can also be awarded depending on the candidate’s country of origin.

  • Laureates will receive their scholarship and travel expenses only upon their arrival in France and once they have enrolled in the program to which they were admitted.

  • Students admitted to a Paris-Saclay University Master’s program delivered by one of the following institutions: AgroParisTech, CentraleSupelec, ENS Paris-Saclay, INSTN-CEA, IOGS, UEVE, UPSaclay, and UVSQ. Among these students, only those who answer one of the following criteria are eligible to apply.

  • Newly arrived international students aged 30 and under during the election year.

  • Enrollment in a Ph.D. program at a university in an eligible Commonwealth country as of September 2023

  • Students of foreign nationality living on French soil for less than a year, previously or currently enrolled in a training course or internship that does not lead to certification.

  • Students who have previously lived in France within the framework of a mobility program during their studies (e.g. Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s Degrees, exchange program…) that did not lead to certification.


  • All students who have been or are enrolled in a French higher education institution during their studies, except international students enrolled in a French higher education institution abroad.

  • Students who have interrupted their studies for more than 3 consecutive years.

  • Students receiving any other type of funding exceeding 650€ per month.

  • Selected students will automatically be sent a link by email to an online application form.

  • Each of the two referees named by the candidate will be sent a link by email to an online recommendation form. They will be asked to complete and submit the form before the closing date of the scholarship call. The candidate will be automatically informed when each referee has submitted the form.

  • The scholarship application file will be complete when the referees have sent in both recommendation forms.

Please note that the candidate will not receive a confirmation that the application is complete.

The candidate is responsible for ensuring that both referees fill out the form and send it in by the deadline in the invitation email.

Applications that are incomplete or received after the deadline will be automatically rejected.
